Visitors of a large cultural diplomatic exhibition in South Africa’s capital, Pretoria, queue to visit Iran’s room.

Visitors of a large cultural diplomatic exhibition in South Africa’s capital, Pretoria, have queued to visit Iran’s room.

The event was hosted by the presidential palace in Pretoria, Tasnim news agency reported on Thursday.

In Iran’s room, various Iranian products, especially handicrafts as well as traditional costumes were displayed.

Books and brochures in English about Islam and the history of the ancient civilization of Islamic Iran were also introduced to the room’s visitors.

Visitors of the fair were also able to get familiar with seven delicious traditional Iranian desserts which were made by the wives of Iranian diplomats.

The exhibition saw South African people queuing to get familiar with the Iranian culture and art.

South African diplomats and many ambassadors also visited Iran’s pavilion at the exhibition.

South Africa’s Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor was among the visitors of Iran’s room.

She also discussed cultural ties between the Tehran and Pretoria with Iran’s cultural attaché on the sidelines of the exhibition.
